Anya Phillips
Since I was a teenager I've had a strong romantic connection witht he New York punk scene that revolved around CBGB's, the mudd club and the icons that attended and performed the venue like Patti Smith, Debbie Harry, Lydia Lunch and the Velvets.
Looking back on the Mud Club and one it's founders Anya Phillips. She was a scene queen and fashion designer who dated and managed James chance.
Here are 2 of her garmentsworn by Debbie and (Pat PLace...) I don't know guessing. SO into it.

TAPE
Today Susan had me begin to produce † shaped objects, while unpacking a cardboard box I was going to use to make the shapes I unraveled the tape around the box and got to enjoy their shapes and forms and the stuff that got caught in the adhesive.

I also worked on some hinges that would connect the lid of the box making it kind of functional.
I also have been making small cardboard sculptures for Susan's big show in May that will preview at Bridget's gallery in 2 weeks and will be sculpture hanging and resting in the boxes among other works of painting, garments and drawings. Here are some of them.
